I rode in a Lotus Elise today on a few racing laps. First off, I’m 6'2 and 195 lbs so I had to fracture every bone in my body to get in. Second, racing is very, very fast.

Dream car. I think I’m too short though.

We’re about the same size and, depending on your proportions, even a Miata can be cruel and unusual. Passenger seat isn’t bad, though.

It’s ought to be similar in interior dimensions to a Miata. I could certainly see being any taller/larger than myself would be an issue for fitment. At 6'0 150 pounds, I’ve always considered my Miata to fit like a glove. It got a ton better with an aftermarket seat though. At least my head doesn’t stick out anymore!

An Elise is definitely my dream car though, once my Miata frame eventually disintegrates, I hope I have enough money to replace it with something like that.

Its getting in that's the killer. High sides, very much like a roll cage. Once in I fit 100%

There’s an almost 8" wide door sill to get over, it’s wider than a curb and makes entry and exit in the Elise a true pain. There is decent room inside once your in; however, two full sized men will rub shoulders if you take a passenger.
